Eligibility
Players must meet Little League International tournament eligibility requirements, including age/division rules and approved residency or school attendance eligibility. For players league age 8 and older, eligibility is typically based on league boundary residency, qualifying school attendance, or other approved eligibility paths.
Regular Season Participation
In most divisions, players generally must have participated in at least eight regular season games before tournament play begins. Senior Division has different participation treatment under Little League guidance.
Roster & Batting Order
For Junior Division and below, tournament teams use a continuous batting order that includes all available players listed for the game. Senior Division tournament play does not use the same mandatory play requirement.
Pitch Count & Rest
Tournament pitch count and required rest rules apply by division, and pitchers may not pitch on three consecutive days. Managers are responsible for following Little League pitch count limits and rest requirements throughout tournament play.
This is a brief parent-friendly summary. Official Little League International Tournament Rules and Guidelines always control in the event of any conflict or question.
