Covid-19 Chases Away Summer Session

Effective immediately, our board has voted to end the Summer Session and shut down Dr. Phillips Little League. For most of us, this decision is heartbreaking news, as we worked tirelessly and diligently to bring baseball and softball back to our fields. And we thought it was going extremely well! But with the news of the spike in COVID-19 cases across Central Florida, combined with Mayor Demings’ newly signed Executive Order which mandates wearing masks while in public spaces, we feel it’s in the best interest and safety of our local community, and specifically our young boys and girls, to shut down our league.

Rest assured, baseball and softball will return to DPLL soon!
